The recent divorce between Hulk Hogan and his wife, Linda, has initiated a custody battle over their 17-year old son, Nick. People magazine reports:
[Linda Hogan] is seeking an unspecified amount of alimony and child support, in addition to custody of their son, Nick, who will be 18 in July. She would allow "liberal visitation" with his father."I never thought I'd see the day, but it looks like Hulk Hogan and his wife are just an older, yet stronger and more tanned version of Britney and K-Fed, because this thing looks like it's going to get real ugly real fast. However, custody rulings might run surprisingly smoothly if little Nicky can simply pick which parent he wants to live with. Specifically, People reports:
[Hulk] Hogan, 54, whose real name is Terry Bollea, says Linda is capable of supporting herself and he believes their son is old enough to decide with whom to live. "It would be in the best interest for the parties to have shared parental responsibility," says Hogan's filing."Oh, and remember how Hulk told everyone that the divorce came as a complete surprise to him? Well, it turns out that court documents say that they've been legally separated since late September, approximately one month after Nick Hogan's devastating car crash which occurred on August 26, 2007. With that said, I don't know what to believe. I thought I figured all of this out the other day and it was clear to me that the divorce is nothing more than a way for the Hogans to protect their assets just in case they were sued by the family of John Graziano, Nick Hogan's friend and passenger in the August 26th crash who has remained in a coma since the accident. Now, with the separation and the custody battle, it appears that there really might be bad blood between Hulk Hogan and his wife after all!
In the end, though, I don't know what to believe. Isn't that how life goes though, once you think you've figured it out, a celebrity goes and does something crazy that you can't fully understand and your whole world gets flipped, turned upside down. "Flipped, turned upside down..." Where have I heard that before. Ohhhhhhh right, it's in the theme song from The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Hmm, it's funny what your subconscious does to you sometimes.
